NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 25 – Harambee Stars skipper Michael Olunga scored, but his club Al Duhail fell 4-3 in a seven-goal thriller to Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr in an AFC Champions League duel on Tuesday night.

Olunga found the back of the net in the 85th minute, just four minutes after Cristiano had completed his brace, but it wasn’t enough to charge up a Duhail comeback as they fell to defeat.

Cristiano’s backheel assist had given Brazilian Talisca the opening goal in the 25th minute, before Senegalese international Sadio Mane doubled their lead 11 minutes after halftime.

It was 3-0 on the hour mark when Cristiano scored the first of his two with his weaker left foot, and the Saudi Arabian club seemed to be flying away to a massive win.

However, Duhail started their comeback scoring two goals in four minutes, Ismail Mohammed netting in the 63rd minute before skipper Almoez Ali brought them to within a goal of Nassr in the 67th minute.

However, their hopes of a comeback were thwarted when Ronaldo completed his brace in the 81st minute, taking his side 4-2 up.

Olunga then made for some nervous ending to the match when he scored four minutes to full time, but his side could not complete the huge comeback.

Duhail remain third in Group E of the Champions League after losing their second consecutive match. They have just one point from their barren draw with Tajikistan side FC Istiklol.
